Activities

Show for kids and teens, Platée la Reine des Grenouilles

(Platée the Queen of Frogs)

Platéé, la reine des grenouilles

Based on the famous opera by J. P. Rameau, 'Platée, la Reine des Grenouilles' relates to the adventures of Platée, an imaginary creature both nonsensical and entertaining. The libretto of this original fairy tale has been adapted for younger audiences. The orchestra is accompanied by a puppeteer and a soprano singer.

At the end of the show, children can access the stage and try the instruments out together with the musicians or stop by the puppet workshop and make one themselves.

The Aim

To encourage children to discover the beauty and magic of the opera world through beautiful and original puppets, created especially for the event.
